The semester will begin with 2 weeks of getting to know each other and building foundations for new networks. The rest of the semester will be divided into 3 trimesters. The semester will endeavor to extensively cover each of the following broad themes (but not restricted to these alone): Managing Yourself – Performance Targets, Managerial Functions and Leverage, Home/Work balance, Financial Intelligence, Personal habits Managing Your Team – Teamwork and Emotional Intelligence. Reading Body Language, Delegation and Motivation. Grooming your replacement. Managing Upwards – Migrating to the C-level. Navigating office politics. Skills you need for the C-level, Being Visible, Business Etiquette.
Opeyemi studied Industrial Relations & Personnel Management from the Lagos State University and has a Masters in Human Resources Management from the Heriot Watt University. She also is a Licensed Human Resources Professional from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management and also an Associate Member of the same institute. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants – Nigeria (FIMC). She is Certified by the HR Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources International (SPHRi) as well as a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR).Opeyemi has a passion for teaching women on Financial literacy, emergency funds, budgeting, investments and creating a diversified investment portfolio that guaranties long term financial independence. She is happily married to the future Governor of Lagos State and blessed with 2 kids.
