He is a competent and ethically grounded corporate finance and investment banking professional with more than five years of proven significant experience in transaction advisory, corporate finance, transaction/deal structuring, valuation, mergers and acquisition advisory, and due diligence.
He has been part of different corporate finance and advisory transactions involving clients across various sectors such as financial services, consumer markets, telecommunications, ICT, oil & gas, healthcare, as well as government and infrastructure with a total transaction value of approximately US$1 billion. Oyebimpe Ogunyemi is a serial enterpreneur and Founder/Managing Partner at Umami Sweets & Treats; Life Memoirs Events & Procurement and LM Edibles. Bimpe holds a First Class B.Sc., International Relations degree. She is also a graduate of the Covenant Capital Business School and is currently enrolled in the pioneer Business and Enterpreneurial Certification Programme at the Joseph Business School, Lagos. In pursuit of excellence in her craft and passion point, Bimpe completed an Advanced Diploma in Event Styling and Planning from the UK Wedding Academy Global, London, and has also taken other personal development and professional trainings locally and internationally.

Before venturing out as an entrepreneur, Bimpe worked in various capacities at one of the foremost financial institutions in Nigeria, handling portfolios which included New Products Development, Retail Banking Portfolio Management, Product Promotions & Branding, Customer Service and Banking Operations. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

The Media Group is part of the Entrepreneurs, Tech & Creatives Stream of the TCN Covenant Community Groups. We are called the growers, because our work is crucial to the growth of most, if not all, businesses. We ply our trade as freelancers, agencies or work directly on the client side. Our job is to lead people to action through our creative design, copywriting, campaign management and digital skills. Taiwo Oyewole

Taiwo is an innovator with over 20 years of experience in both marketing and technology. His marketing experience spans creative design, brand management, PR, media, advertising, agency management, digital, events and experiential marketing. Within the tech world, Taiwo has navigated the waters of software development, computer hardware, system administration, IT support and project assurance.

He is a graduate of Psychology from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife, Osun state and is currently Managing Partner at True Identity Company, a Media, Marketing and Technology firm. Just before, going back to the company he founded over a decade ago, Taiwo was Park Director at The Zone Technology Park, where he led one of the largest and fastest growing innovation clusters in Africa. Taiwo has been fortunate to work with some of Africa’s leading organisations across various industries including, Advertising, Technology Consulting, Banking and Asset Management.

Taiwo loves working with small businesses, in developing strategy, marketing and technology and in 2017, became a mentor on the Google Launchpad Start programme for Nigeria. The Digital Evangelist, as he fondly calls himself, is a regular guest on radio and TV where he talks about technology. He was also the host of the business show on Classic FM 97.3, Business Half Hour, where he interviews business owners and managers. He now hosts Blue Talks (podcasts and webinars) a property he co-developed with StanbicIBTC. Taiwo is a member of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) and an alumnus of Squared Online. He has also acquired training and certificates in ITIL v3, Google Analytics, Managing Digital Projects from the BBC, LAMP (Linux Apache MySql and PHP) among others. Taiwo is an avid lover of technology, automotive and aviation engineering. He is married with children.

The music community group is for those involved in the performance, production and the business of Music. We learn the rudiments of being good stewards of our musical gifts, by examining global best practice in the way we approach the craft. We also learn the intricate balance between being artsy but also remaining profitable and engaged. We emphasise the importance of being broadminded and collaborative so that we can spread the tentacles of our influence. Those who grew up in church music often have some impressions about Music that might not necessarily hold up to actual realities. We engage in intense and frank discussions that help broaden one another’s perspective. Finally, we study how to get your music before the audience, by showing that the future is in music streaming.

Femi Jacobs

Femi Jacobs is widely known as a decorated Nigerian leading actor. His role in the 2013 breakthrough romantic comedy film – The Meeting cemented his place amongst Nollywood’s better-known leading faces. It also earned him his first pan-African accolade as Best Actor in Comedy in the 2015 edition of the prestigious African Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
Femi’s film credits have since gone diverse, ranging from the hilarious TAXI DRIVER (filmed entirely in one of Nigeria’s major languages, Yoruba), to Nigeria’s first four man cast film, THE VISIT. He’s also the author of a “Rise, Cultivate The Grits For Greatness”

Laolu Alabi

Laolu Alabi has several years of experience in business development, Strategy and Project Management especially in the real estate industry. He has overseen and completed several projects spanning the entire development chain – Design, Finance and Development.

Laolu is a trained architect, with a Masters In Environmental Design (M.E.D) in Architecture from the University of Lagos. He therefore plays in the real estate industry armed with both technical and commercial knowledge.

He is currently CEO, Damilare Baker – One of Africa’s premium real estate development and consultancy firm.
